The Honorable Frances Adamson visiting Orana

In October, we welcomed Her Excellency, The Honourable Frances Adamson AC, Governor of South Australia, and her husband Mr Rod Bunten to Orana.

During her visit, Frances met and spoke to a number of employees at our Netley Business Services site, learning about the process and opportunities that Orana provides to people with disability.

Accompanied by Jim Liu, Orana CEO, and a number of Orana Executive Management team members, Frances had the opportunity to hear directly from employees about their roles and what services they receive.

Frances was privy to our oil bottling facilities, packaging and assembly lines, labelling, and recognised the many local South Australian business that Orana has partnered with over the last few years.

Frances also visited our Supported Independent Living home at Amaroo (Clarence Park), where she met June and Suzie.

“We have loved having the opportunity to showcase Oranas services and facilities to Her Excellency. It’s fantastic to have the Govenor of South Australia visit our sites and learn more about the support and opportunities that we provide to over 650 South Australians each year.” Jim Liu, CEO Orana.

Frances, and her husband, Rod, are the patrons of Orana, as well as over 150 other charities and disability services in South Australia, providing their support and guidance.

We value and appreciate Her Excellency taking the time to visit Orana, and we look forward to building a relationship together.

“Looking forward, we hope to hold the opportunity to showcase Orana’s community further.” Jim Liu, CEO Orana.
