Orana’s Work Experience aims to provide school students in years 10-12 with valuable hands-on experience in a range of roles available at an Orana site. We aim to match students with roles that suit their skills and interests.
Work Experience is great for students who are looking for employment as an option when they leave school. Orana offers supported employment opportunities for people with disability. Individuals are employed directly by Orana and have the chance to work in a variety of roles available across our various employment sites.
Supported Employment is a great option for students who may need ongoing support in the workplace or for those who wish to develop their work skills and confidence in a supportive environment before moving to open employment.
Work Experience provides students with the opportunity to explore a variety of jobs that meet their interests and abilities. Our program aims to help students gain new skills, make new friends, and boost their confidence in a supportive environment.
Orana provides students with the necessary tools and resources to succeed in the work environment. We provide students with a comprehensive workbook filled with various resources and engaging activities designed to assist them in the workplace.

Community Options helps connect you to your community, make new friends, and, more importantly, support you in achieving your goals. At Orana, we recognise the importance of the transition process for students, whether they are preparing for employment or exploring other opportunities. That’s why we provide a range of experiences through our Community Options programs.
Community Options offers a range of programs that act as great stepping-stones for students who are eager to develop their skills. Whether you’re preparing to enter the workforce or seeking a part-time opportunity, our programs can provide an ideal basis for your development.
Community Options Experience provides students with the opportunity to explore and try out various programs that can assist them in making decisions about their post-school pathway.
At Orana, we offer our students support for their Community Options experiences. Students are provided with a specially designed workbook containing various resources and engaging activities. With the help of this workbook, students can make the most of their Community Options experience.
