Orana appoints new Chief Executive Officer

Following a comprehensive search, the Orana Board of Directors is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Jim Liu as the new Chief Executive Officer of Orana Australia Limited (Orana). Jim, a highly experienced senior leader, takes over from Nick Mihalaras, who recently retired after more than 14 years of service. Jim will step into his new role from Monday 31st January 2022.

Jim is no stranger to Orana, having served as Executive Manager – Business Services for the previous seven months. He clearly understands that providing the highest quality services is the only way to provide our clients with a better life in the future” said Orana Chair, Mr David Johns.

Jim brings more than 25 years of experience in senior leadership roles across finance, operational, business development and general management to Orana.

He also holds significant experience in cultural, financial, and organisational transformation, particularly during periods of significant internal and external change. In his previous roles, Jim was instrumental in building a purpose driven and customer focused culture, developing and leading high performing teams, and transforming businesses across a broad range of Industries.
