Meet Adam

Adam has built a life of connection and achievement through Supported Independent Living at Galway and his long-standing role at Orana Netley.

With 35 years of dedication, a passion for fitness, and a strong circle of friends, Adam’s story is one of perseverance, growth and community.

Meet Bella

Bella is bold, creative and unapologetically herself.

From running her own herbal tea business, Magnolia Tea House, to performing with Restless Dance Theatre, she expresses her individuality through business and the arts, leading with confidence and originality.

Meet Bryce

Since moving into Supported Independent Living in Loxton, Bryce has embraced independence with enthusiasm.

Recognised as Young Citizen of the Year in 2024, he balances daily responsibilities, community involvement and big future goals with positivity and pride.

Meet Chris

Chris has proudly called Orana’s Galway Supported Independent Living home while building skills for the future.

A dedicated employee at Netley since 1997, he is working toward his goal of open employment while continuing to grow his independence at home and in the community.

Meet Felix

Felix, a high school student from the Mid North, finds joy and freedom in movement and dance.

His story also shares his family’s perspective, reflecting on the challenges, triumphs and deep pride that shape his journey.

Meet James

James, from Nuriootpa, values independence and living life on his own terms.

Balancing part-time work, running his own lawn games business and spending time with family and friends, his story highlights determination, positivity and carving out your own definition of success.

Meet Josh

Josh is an enthusiastic and motivated member of our community with a passion for leadership, which he exemplifies in his role as a proud Orana Ambassador.

He enjoys being part of the team and encourages others to consider supported employment as a pathway to meaningful work and connection.

Meet Rachel

Rachel is a performer, advocate and proud Port Augusta local whose journey has taken her from regional stages to international performances.

As the first person with Down syndrome in Australia to graduate from university, she continues to inspire through her work as a researcher and peer supporter, showing what’s possible when passion meets purpose.

Meet Tara

Tara has been part of the Orana community for more than 21 years and has created a home she loves in Supported Independent Living in Loxton.

Through work, hobbies and daily routines, she demonstrates how the right support can foster comfort, confidence and belonging.
