Our new Community Options
Orana is excited to announce the launch of a new Community Options program in the Western Adelaide Metro area.
The Western Metro program provides a fun and supportive environment for people with disability to achieve their personal, social, community, and recreational goals. This program offers a great opportunity to develop new relationships and ties in the local community.

This community-based program runs from 9 am to 3.30 pm, Monday through Friday, at an wide range of local venues, providing the ideal space and hub for daily activities and outings.
With a variety of indoor and outdoor activities and games, the Western Metro program has the capacity to support a large number of participants and incorporate new activities that are of interest to participants.
Libby, a current participant, attends the Western Metro Community Options program on Mondays and Thursdays between her employment at Orana’s Netley Business Services.
Community Options offers her the ideal opportunity to transition between employment and retirement by providing a variety of fun daily activities and an opportunity for regular social Interaction.
“As Libby continues to attend Community Options, we get to know her and her interests. We’re able to adjust the day’s activities based on her likes, interests, and what she would like to do.” Community Services Coach, Amber.
Swimming, games, cooking, outdoor sports, exercise, shopping, arts and crafts, bowling, movies, beauty, and other programs are currently available. Participants can customise their daily program schedule based on their interests and goals.

With a focus on building community connections and engagement, Orana’s Community Options programs offer tremendous benefits. Participants can improve their daily living and social skills and build self-confidence in our daily programs.
The Western Metro program is a fantastic way to expand a person’s interests and experience new activities in a fun and supportive group setting.

The Western Metro Community Options Program is available to anyone who has appropriate NDIS funding or is self-funded.
