Loxton Supported Independent Living Homes unveiled

We are thrilled to have recently announced the grand opening of our newest Independent Living Homes in Loxton Riverland. This initiative represents a significant step towards promoting independence, inclusivity, and a sense of community for people with disability in the region.

About the Project:
The new Independent Living homes include three new residential homes with ensuites and two brand new three‐bedroom homes, the culmination of our two‐million‐dollar investment. The new Independent Living Homes reflects our unwavering commitment to creating living spaces that cater to the unique needs of individuals with disability. Located on Bookpurnong Road, Loxton, these homes have been meticulously designed to provide a safe, accessible, and supportive environment for residents.

Key Features:
Tailored Accessibility: The new homes boast state‐of‐the‐art accessibility features, ensuring that each resident can navigate their living space with ease and comfort.

Community‐Centric Design: Strategically located just three minutes from the heart of Loxton and the local community, residents will have easy access to essential services and recreational facilities, promoting community integration and engagement.

Holistic Support Services: We are dedicated to delivering person‐centred support services, including personalised care plans, assistance with daily activities, and a team of passionate professionals committed to supporting residents’ independence.

We recently celebrated the launch of the new homes at an invitation‐only event on Friday 19th July at the new properties, located at 1852 Bookpurnong Road, Loxton. The event included a ribbon‐cutting ceremony, officiated by Mayor Trevor Norton, followed by guided tours of our new homes, allowing attendees to experience first hand the positive impact of this transformative initiative.

CEO Jim Liu stated, “I am excited about the development of our new properties and their profound impact on improving the lives of people with disability in the Loxton Riverland community. This initiative demonstrates our commitment to creating inclusive spaces that promote independence, accessibility, and a sense of belonging for everyone. We believe these properties will not only be homes but also catalysts for positive change, fostering a more inclusive and supportive environment for people with disability.”
