Important information about Orana’s Mt Gambier operations
Orana has made the difficult decision to cease its production operations in Mt Gambier following a careful review of their ongoing viability and future.
Our staff, supported employees and their families have been informed directly. We recognise that this is significant news and understand the uncertainty and concern it may create for the people affected and the wider Mt Gambier community.
Our immediate priority is to support the employees, families and staff directly affected with care, respect and clear communication.
We sincerely acknowledge the contribution our Mt Gambier employees and staff have made to Orana and the local community. We recognise the relationships, routines and sense of purpose people have built through their work, and we do not underestimate the personal impact of this change.
To protect the privacy of those affected, Orana will not comment publicly on individual employment circumstances or entitlements.
