Deb Dutton Commences as Chief Executive Officer of Orana

Orana is pleased to welcome Deb Dutton as its new Chief Executive Officer, commencing on Monday 12 January.

Deb joins Orana following her role as CEO of Rembrandt Living and brings extensive senior leadership experience across the not-for-profit and community services sectors. She has a strong background in operational leadership, governance and service delivery, with a focus on quality, safety and building strong organisational culture.

In her first weeks, Deb will be focused on listening and learning — spending time across Orana’s sites and services, meeting staff and getting to know the people Orana supports.

“I’m really looking forward to getting to know Orana — the people we support, our dedicated teams, and our partners,” Deb said. “My focus in the early weeks is on listening, learning and understanding how we can continue to strengthen the positive impact Orana has in the community.”

Deb’s appointment marks an important milestone for Orana as the organisation continues to evolve and respond to the changing needs of people with disability, families and the broader community.

Orana thanks Interim CEO Nick Mihalaras for his leadership and support during the transition period and for ensuring continuity and stability ahead of Deb’s commencement.
