Autistics’ Guide To Adulthood
Autism SA lease a new guide for adults with autism.
Would you like to know more about becoming an adult? AutismSA’s new guide is available online now to support autistic adults in achieving their goals.
The Autistics’ Guide To Adulthood, an interactive resource, has been created in collaboration with autistic adults and professionals from around Australia, and intends to give practical advice, techniques, and activities for overcoming life’s challenges.
From making friends and caring for oneself to finding employment and dealing with life’s obstacles, this guide is specifically tailored to autistic adults by autistic adults.
The Autistics’ Guide to Adulthood’s life-skills modules are available for free through a secure and engaging online learning environment.
The goal of this resource is to assist individuals in reaching their personal goals by offering knowledge, advice, and insights.
Modules can be accessed at your own pace, and in any order, allowing you to choose how you learn.
There is no requirement to complete the modules, they are simply a useful resource to guide you through adulthood.
These free modules include learning based around communication, friendship, independent living, mental and physical heath, romantic relationships and so much more.
To ensure the topics covered in these modules would be most relevant, and of the most interest, a national survey for autistic adults was conducted.
