Orana’s UniStudent@Work
As part of Orana’s broader focus on building capability, strengthening our workforce, and creating real opportunities, we are proud to launch our new University Student Employment Program, UniStudent@Work.
This initiative provides university students with meaningful employment opportunities across our organisation while they complete their studies.
- Students apply for relevant roles across different Orana sites
- Work 2–3 days per week during university term
- Increase hours during university holidays
- Gain hands-on experience aligned to their field of study
Students gain practical, real-world experience in a supportive environment, while Orana benefits from capable, motivated people who bring fresh thinking, new ideas, and energy to our teams.
Importantly, this program also provides an opportunity to introduce future professionals to the disability sector and the meaningful work undertaken every day at Orana. It is about more than addressing short-term workforce needs. It represents an investment in the future workforce of our sector.
What Orana is looking for:
- Engineering students supporting Business Services and Production teams
- Social Work, Disability and Occupational Therapy students supporting Client Development and Day Options
- Nursing students supporting our clinical team
- Marketing and Communications students contributing to campaigns, content and brand initiatives
- Business and Administration students supporting finance, HR and rostering
- IT and Digital students assisting with systems, reporting and improvement projects
