Interaction services new online safety training.
With the help of Interaction’s free online safety training, young people with disability are encouraged to engage in the vibrant and expansive online community while reducing the hazards and risks that may arise.

With the help of this free resource, participants and their support networks can develop their digital resilience and adopt safe online habits.
Topics include:

  • Recognising and managing cyberbullying
  • How to have safe online relationships
  • Understanding image-based abuse
  • How to improve digital wellbeing
  • Protecting personal and private information

To equip families, carers, and educators with the best tools to support people with disability, this free resource also includes information on:

  • Understanding current online safety risks
  • Enhancing connection, trust and partnerships with your child
  • How to set up a cyber safe home

Interaction’s online safety training is available on a custom-built learning platform that includes accessibility features like AUSLAN, visual and audio tools to support users with a diverse range of learning needs.

This program gives users an exciting opportunity to develop their knowledge as they advance on their digital journey by empowering them with the tools to manage online risks and hazards.

Interaction’s training aims to ensure that people with disability are not excluded from having positive and safe experiences online.
This program and resource has been developed in collaboration with Australia’s leading cyber safety experts, ySafe, and in consultation with the disability community and sector experts.
