About The Role:

The Rostering Officer will assist the Rostering Coordinator in working closely with all relevant stakeholders, to ensure support is provided to all clients as per the rosters of care.

The role will be based at our Netley location and will be a part time role over 7 days per week. The Rostering officer will be on a weekly rotating roster between the hours of 7am-7pm. 

About You: 

Our ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in rostering. You will have strong communication skills and you pride yourself on your customer service skills. You will be proactive, use your initiative and have thorough attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in the use of MS office at an intermediate level is required. 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Responding to rostering requests in a timely and responsive manner.
  • Allocate casual staff to vacant shifts.
  • update rosters upon booking completion to ensure system information is ‘live’.
  • Provide excellent customer service in a high volume and demanding professional team environment where there are competing priorities and strict deadlines.
  • Ensure the scheduling of staff meet the requirements of the relevant Enterprise Agreement, Award and National Employment Standards.
  • Ensure that unassigned shifts are filled in a timely manner to ensure minimal disruption to clients and maximum cost effectiveness to the organisation.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

  • Exceptional customer service, problem solving skills and the ability to think outside the square
  • 2 years + experience in rostering or scheduling. (TimeTarget experience would be an advantage)
  • Understanding of SCHADS award is desirable  
  • Mandatory disability sector screening checks
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.
