David Johns
Board Director

David is a Director with Lawson Smith Lawyers and  has an extensive career in the legal industry and brings to Orana a wealth of knowledge around public liability, product liability, professional indemnity and contract works.

David’s passion for legal work has seen him gain extensive experience with insurance claims and providing advice on policy wording and interpretation.

David has been a Board Director since February 2010.

David has provided significant ancillary advice to both insurers and their clients in industrial law and workers compensation,
appearing regularly in the Industrial Relations Commission and Industrial Relations Tribunal.

He has been a keynote speaker at a number of seminars conducted by Lawson Smith for insurers, addressing concerns about decisions and amendments to legislation, and providing general advice on claims management and risk minimisation.
